Renewable energy research with primary interest in Photovoltaic and Thermoelectric materials, Fuel cells and Hydrogen technologies. Collaboration with PSYCH and ARCHI for public perceptions of energy system transformations (UKERC phase II).

Experience:
BSc (Hons) Chemistry degree (1992) and PhD in Crystallography (1995) from University of Wales College Cardiff.
Employed in the Semiconductor (III:V epitaxial crystal growth) industry (as a Senior Production, Process and Product Engineer) from 1996-2009.
Employed in the School of Engineering at Cardiff University from February 2010.

 

Professional Activities and Recognition:
Chartered Chemist accreditation attained during 1995.
